“He is my No. 1 priority. I turn down everything that will take me away from him for too long. I have turned down quite a few things. The thing with me being a mom is, that title should be played out. . . .
“When I was pregnant, I finally knew why I was here. I finally got the truth about why I’m on the planet. I felt like I was doing what I was supposed to be doing. That it was what I was supposed to be doing and continue to do, probably with the greatest joy of anything in my life. That’s what gave me my purpose, my reason to be. It kept me in my most ethical place. I realized a lot about myself. It enhanced my life, really. It didn’t change my life.”
