Blaine B. Johnson Jr. of Blaine B. Johnson Jr. PC, Jackson, Michigan, practices in the area of family law. He limits his practice to divorce and custody cases at the trial and appellate levels. He is a member of the Family Law Section of both the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association. He is a trained mediator for divorce and custody cases and initiated, then assisted, with the court rule revision regarding entry of orders and judgments. Mr. Johnson has contributed to the ICLE Divorce Judgment Clause Bank and has presented at the Upper Michigan Legal Institute for the State Bar of Michigan, for the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and for ICLE. He is a member of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Family Law Section, the American Bar Association, the Jackson County Legal Services/Legal Services of Southern Michigan Pro Bono Program, and the ICLE Family Law Advisory Board. Mr. Johnson contributes to the Family Law Section professional online discussion group (listserv) and has acted as an expert witness in a number of cases. He was a member of the planning committee, a moderator, and a lecturer for both the 1st and 2nd Annual Family Law Institutes.
