The Detroit Free Press has a nice story of brotherly love.
Jeff Seidel writes (excerpt):
In the days leading up to the game, Brad sent Phil e-mail messages. “You are the man,” Brad wrote. “Kick Albion’s butt Saturday. i proud of you big time. Love you tons. love ya Bradley.”
It’s an amazing accomplishment. When Brad was born with Down syndrome, the doctors said he would never walk or read. But he has proved them wrong. He is a freshman at Tri County High School in Howard City and pulls A’s and B’s, taking regular classes with reduced content. He is in the marching band and a manager for the basketball team.
“Come on, kid,” Brad screams at Phil. “Let’s go Hope!”
